This was such an amazing, emotional moment during the bride getting ready. The response from her mother and father upon seeing her in her wedding gown was beautiful. It was just fabulous being able to document this moment and several like it during this Stonefield's wedding. They were married on a sunny July Saturday outside under blue skies. I find moments like these look fabulous in black and white; it really makes the emotion shine without distractions. There are so many photographic spots at this wedding venue just west of Ottawa. It's key structure is an old restored barn that is decorated so elegantly. As soon as you walk into the barn, you are greeted with a massive centre hung chandelier that is beyond beautiful. For your first dance, you can opt to have it under the stars and edison bulb lights for a truly romantic moment. I love the textures of the wooden structures throughout the property and they make for a great backdrop when photographing the couple and the wedding party. Your guests will love walking around the property as well during the cocktail hour and reception. Make sure you take your time and walk along the laneway under the mature trees.
