There is something so warm about photographing a couple in a wheat field on the island. As a PEI based wedding photographer, I love going to places that couples have fond memories of. In this case, it was a wheat field on land belonging to the couple's friend. We spent about 20 minutes here before we headed off to the third and final location. The couple scheduled a lot of time for photographs and the resulting imagery was a lot of variety for them to have and showcase in their home after their summer wedding. It's important to discuss your wedding locations for pictures with your photographer so that the schedule can reflect travel time and the actual time it takes to get the photographs you want. It's also important to have an idea of a back up location in case the weather does not cooperate. As long as you are not trying to decide on the day of your wedding, everything should be fine. Talk about what your priorities are for wedding imagery and have a must have list and would be nice list. Don't forget that you can sneak out of your reception for 5-10 minutes so that your photographer can capture nighttime images with some off camera flash work.
