This engaged couple got married at the Inn at Strathmere. It was a small, intimate wedding and the couple was surrounded by close friends and family. It was just magical and perfect on all levels. They were married outside under a huge tree and surrounded by fall mums and fall foliage with beautiful pops of orange. While the guests dined on yummy cocktail food and drink, the wedding party and the couple ventured off to take pictures of everyone. But not before the couple themselves got to mingle with guests and enjoy a champagne toast. The sun was starting to get near sunset when we were taking pictures and the light was golden in color. This is definitely my favorite time during a wedding to take images because the light is so warm. We wasted no time in getting a number of different images captured for the couple, both directed and candid for their wedding album collection. This image was one of the last taken outside before we headed into the venue for dinner. Dinner was the most amazing butternut squash soup and delightful steak with all the vegetables! The great thing about strathmere is that they have a taste testing weekend in early spring so you get to sample their delicious food before you choose. Not all wedding venues will do that so make sure to check out this venue.
