Behind the Marshes there used to be an old de-commisioned railway that I loved photographing with a wedding party or couple. Unfortunately, it is being torn up. At this moment, I am not sure how much as already been removed. The good news is that it will make a fantastic trail for families. Behind the couple is the location of where the sun typically sets and if you happen to be near it during sunset with a bride and groom, definitely take advantage of it! In order to get the couple's head above the horizon, I photographed this lying on the ground (while trying not to get hit by passing cars). All I asked the couple to do was to walk towards me and just flirt with one another. The result is natural pose/action with authentic emotion.
Location: The Marshes, Ottawa.
